Nova Services upgrades from SAP Business One to SAP Business ByDesign gaining deeper insights and a flexible work environment

Nova Services, a diversified oilfield services company based in Hobbs, New Mexico, faced an outdated, non-scalable accounting system that limited visibility across growing divisions and hindered invoicing and AR access. Working with VistaVu Solutions, Nova initially implemented SAP Business One together with the FieldVu field-service component to gain job costing and improved billing capabilities.

VistaVu Solutions then guided Nova’s upgrade to cloud ERP SAP Business ByDesign (implemented August 2019) and continued optimization with Dell Boomi integrations, enabling consolidated reporting, EIN/tax views across multiple divisions, and side-by-side intercompany reports without logging in and out. The change delivered measurable benefits — immediate reporting and interim billing per delivery for faster cash flow, remote access during COVID-19, and ongoing integrations to eliminate double entry and streamline operations.
