Oceanscan, a leading international equipment rental company based in Aberdeen with over 14,000 assets and 13,000 contractors, faced fragmented operations driven by a bespoke system, spreadsheets and paper-based billing that made it impossible to manage and report on thousands of assets and contractors quickly and accurately. VistaVu Solutions implemented FieldVu, migrating asset, contractor and transaction data and working onsite to align workflows across departments. The implementation automated Oceanscan’s rental billing and invoicing, cutting invoice processing from 21 days to nine, eliminated manual entry of 400–700 invoices per month, and made the sales team 45% more efficient through better visibility of available assets — outcomes that immediately improved finance, warehouse and sales operations while enabling ongoing optimization and IoT and reporting initiatives.
