SouthWest Water Company, a regulated water and wastewater utility serving about 140,000 residential and business connections across more than 130 systems, faced fragmentation after rapid growth through multiple acquisitions and numerous legacy applications. To strengthen infrastructure and deliver a lower-cost, more flexible service model, SouthWest Water Company engaged VistaVu Solutions to replace its legacy landscape with a consolidated SAP-based platform (SAP ERP, EAM and IS‑U CRB and related modules).

VistaVu Solutions implemented an integrated SAP solution (CRM, Billing/Client Billing, Mobile Workforce, MRSS, FI‑CO, HR/Payroll, MM, Work & Service Order Management, BI and print systems) in a 12‑month rollout with three months post‑go‑live support. The project included close knowledge transfer with 22 SWWC IT staff, 68 role‑based courses and training for 472 end users plus 492 MDT users (all employees trained on ESS). As a result, VistaVu enabled faster integration of future acquisitions, streamlined operations with reduced call‑center resolution times, improved field coordination and decision‑making, and lower legacy IT maintenance costs—delivering measurable operational and customer‑satisfaction improvements.
