The challenge was reaching the right audience in major cities with messaging that would resonate based on their outdoor lifestyle and shopping behavior.

**Vistar Media** used passive location data to build a custom “Outdoor Lifestyler” audience, then paired it with IBM Watson WeatherFX to trigger weather-based creatives for rain, snow, and sun conditions. The campaign delivered strong results, including a **2.8X lift in foot traffic**, **+9% awareness**, **+29% consideration**, and **+20% purchase intent**; weather-triggered ads drove a **57% higher store visit rate** than always-on creative.
