QSR Visitors, a leading quick service restaurant chain in Canada, wanted to build awareness of its rewards program and drive more foot traffic to its store locations. To address this challenge, the company partnered with Vistar Media and used a digital out-of-home (DOOH) approach powered by Vistar’s location data and geospatial technology.

Vistar Media created a behavioral audience of recent competitive restaurant visitors, analyzed their movement patterns, and delivered ads across relevant DOOH venues such as billboards, bus shelters, urban panels, apartment buildings, office buildings, and convenience stores. The campaign generated a 111% lift in store visit rate, and Vistar Media’s foot traffic study also showed stronger visitation on Sunday through Wednesday, especially during peak dinner hours.
