Goodrich Quality Theaters sought to review and revamp its overly generous and financially unsustainable Frequent Moviegoer (FMG) loyalty program. The challenge was to analyze the member database and implement loyalty best practices to achieve a fairer value exchange. To do this, Goodrich incorporated Movio Cinema, a marketing data analytics platform from Vista Group's Movio, and retained the strategic Movio Experts service.
Movio Experts provided the analysis to recalibrate the program, shifting it from points per ticket to points per dollar spent. The vendor also conducted a member survey and competitive review to inform the redesign. The solution enabled highly targeted, data-driven marketing campaigns with measurable ROI. As a result, Goodrich improved member segmentation, re-engaged inactive patrons, and established a more sustainable and valuable loyalty program for both the business and its customers.
