How a High School Biology Teacher is Using Visme in the Classroom

Katie Feather, a high school biology teacher at the United Nations International School, needed a more engaging way to present her course materials in Schoology than the platform’s default list-style layout. She sought a user-friendly tool to build an interactive front page and turned to Visme to design infographics and interactive content that would signpost students to learning and assessment activities.

Using Visme templates and its clickable/interactive features, Feather created an embedded visual front page in Schoology that links directly to course documents, assessments, and planning activities. The Visme-built infographic made course navigation more memorable and accessible, drew “incredibly positive” feedback from students, and led students to request that she design all her courses similarly — supporting UNIS’s Blended Learning goals and improving classroom engagement.
