Case Study: NEP achieves stable roaming RF coverage and centralized control with Vislink

A Vislink Technologies Case Study

NEP supports Super Bowl LX coverage with Vislink across 3 RF systems

NEP required a robust RF transmission and control system for their broadcast of Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium. The challenge was to maintain stable, low-latency video feeds from roaming cameras in a highly congested wireless environment, all while providing engineers with centralized visibility and remote device management without physical intervention during the live event.

Vislink deployed its HCAM transmitters on cameras and Quantum receivers in the compound to deliver resilient transmission and clean reception. The key solution was the MeshConnect centralized control system, which allowed NEP to manage the entire RF network as a unified ecosystem, enabling remote adjustments to camera settings and real-time link monitoring. This combined Vislink solution operated flawlessly throughout the entire broadcast without disruption, supporting both the live feed and in-stadium production and demonstrating a reliable RF workflow for Tier 1 sports production.
