For NBC's coverage of the 2026 Pasadena Rose Parade, the challenge was to deliver a stable, uninterrupted live broadcast from multiple roaming Steadicam operators navigating a lengthy, crowded parade route. This was complicated by torrential rain, demanding wireless camera systems that were absolutely reliable under extreme conditions to ensure millions of viewers received a seamless broadcast. Vislink's solution deployed eight Sony cameras integrated with HCAM units on a private RF network, allowing operators to move freely and transmit high-quality, low-latency video. The signals were managed by Vislink Quantum receivers, which required no intervention during the event. Despite the heavy rain, the broadcast ran smoothly from start to finish.
