The Tucson Police Department needed a better way to share mission-critical video during high-risk incidents without parking all response vehicles close together and running hard cables between them. Vislink Technologies was brought in to address this challenge with a secure, scalable wireless mobile MESH network designed to distribute tactical video across multiple on-scene vehicles and devices.

Vislink Technologies implemented an IP-based MESH/MIMO solution that let each vehicle view video from airborne assets, robots, throw-phones, and other mobile sources in real time. The network delivered more than 20 Mbps of connectivity between vehicles, improved operational flexibility, and enabled secure Wi‑Fi access for handheld devices, giving commanders and responders better situational awareness and faster decision-making.
