A Visix Case Study
UPS sought to modernize internal communications at its Atlanta corporate headquarters. After years of using AxisTV, Employee Resources Manager Kelli Barley wanted an upgraded version with more graphics, fonts and user-friendly tools so the small communications team could quickly create and approve content for nearly 3,000 employees without relying on video or graphic artists, and to make conference room availability more accessible.
They upgraded to AxisTV and integrated it with an existing conference room scheduler, letting communications specialists design templates, have supervisors approve them, then push content live to about 20 screens via 10 channel players. The result was richer graphics and multi-message displays, less paper and staff time, better event and remote-content sharing (including Founder’s Day footage), increased employee participation through PowerPoint imports and split-screen community updates, and plans to expand AxisTV’s capabilities further.
