Rowan University, a comprehensive institution of over 11,000 students in Glassboro, NJ, faced a campus communications challenge: flyers and bulletin boards were cluttered and inefficient for promoting events and services. Facilities and Operations Coordinator Vincent Surace implemented Visix’s AxisTV digital signage to give student groups a simple, centralized way to publish announcements while preserving a consistent, professional look.

AxisTV’s web-based system lets clubs create and schedule content for review and publication, with monthly layout updates, brief orientations for new users, and displays installed across multiple buildings (including repurposed TVs). The rollout now serves about 80 clubs, delivers messages instantly campus-wide, reduces paper waste, cleans up common spaces, and streamlines communication without adding full-time staff.
