A Visix Case Study
Price Chopper, a grocery chain founded in 1932 that now operates 128 stores in six states, wanted to modernize employee communications when it moved into a new Schenectady headquarters. With six floors and roughly 800–900 staff on-site, HR needed a scalable way to deliver targeted, timely messages across the building (and eventually to stores).
They deployed Visix AxisTV with displays in break rooms and the café and players per floor, serving rotating content—employee mini-interviews, policy updates, contests and raffles, event listings, local news, quizzes and historical “blast from the past” slides. The fresh, localized content increased participation in raffles and classes, drove more bulletin submissions, and gives leadership a real-time alert capability; plans to add animation and video aim to boost engagement and community connection further.
