Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, a growing cancer treatment provider with multiple locations, wanted to enhance its on-site visitor experience to match the quality of its advanced communications and patient care. They partnered with digital signage vendor Visix to create a touchscreen information board that would offer interactive wayfinding, directories, and service information in a stress-free, accessible format.

Visix designed and implemented a custom touchscreen information board featuring interactive wayfinding with a detailed campus map, searchable staff and event directories, and overviews of patient support services. The solution was fully ADA compliant and integrated with the Center's existing systems for easy content management. This info-rich tool, alongside a complementary interactive donor board also created by Visix, provided visitors with quick access to critical information, allowing patients and families to focus on healing.
