Hamilton Health Care System, a Northern Georgia network founded in 1921 with ten affiliates, needed a modern way to communicate timely health information and event notices to both medical staff and the public across multiple facilities. With patient satisfaction already high, the marketing team sought an easy-to-manage, highly visible platform to keep content fresh, reach diverse on-site audiences, and support community-building messages like screenings and public-service bulletins.
They implemented Visix’s AxisTV digital signage across ten 32-inch screens in lobbies, the cafeteria, the emergency department and service elevators, using InDesign-created bulletins (displayed 4–10 seconds) and recently added video to increase attention. The web-based system made updates effortless from anywhere, broadened exposure to key messages, and—paired with ongoing surveys—helped the team measure and refine their communication strategy for better engagement.
