Gibbs Die Casting, a foundry in Henderson, KY founded in 1965, needed to modernize internal communications after its campus CCTV system aged out. The challenge was to replace legacy video walls with a flexible, easy-to-use digital signage platform that frontline employees — many comfortable with PowerPoint but not programming — could manage across multiple buildings and satellite sites while delivering safety alerts, HR notices, weather and customer information.

They implemented Visix AxisTV (upgraded to v8), gaining a browser- and device-friendly interface, PowerPoint-style authoring, VPN-based distribution and a screensaver option that turns 250 idle desktops into displays. The result: nine on-site screens (plus four at a sister site), targeted automated messaging, faster content approvals, reliable safety and storm alerts, minimal support issues and plans to expand the system to Hungary, Brazil and China.
