Georgia Perimeter College rolled out AxisTV digital signage from Visix to modernize communication across its four metropolitan Atlanta campuses. The college had high-definition screens but was juggling multiple legacy systems (Enscriber and VideoNet), costly maintenance, and unreliable modem-based updates after switching to an IP phone system, so they needed a simple, network-based solution that met student expectations for up-to-date information.

The school deployed nine Visix channel players serving displays in 13 buildings and created a media request form linked to the staff AV request page so event publicity can be scheduled and managed centrally. The result is faster, more consistent campus messaging—digital “posters” that run on a calendar without manual removal—saving on printing costs and streamlining content production and distribution.
