A Visix Case Study
Adventist Health System (AHS), the largest not-for-profit Protestant healthcare organization in the U.S. with 43,000 employees, needed a digital communications solution that preserved a consistent corporate message from headquarters while letting six affiliated Adventist college campuses create and manage local content. The challenge was to deploy an easy-to-use system that headquarters could control centrally but that campus staff and students — many non‑technical — could update quickly and autonomously.
AHS implemented AxisTV digital signage with a central content server at headquarters feeding 16x9 lobby displays and three-window-plus-crawl screens at six remote campuses. Corporate provides branded templates and select messaging while campuses add bulletins, video programs, event schedules and news; a Software Maintenance Agreement with Visix ensures rapid support and software updates. The result: fast adoption, frequent campus-driven updates, diverse uses (campus news shows, event displays, picture‑in‑picture), improved engagement, and plans to expand the solution to additional facilities.
