Ofek Aerial Photography and Mapping, a 20+ year aerial mapping firm with a four‑plane fleet, was contracted to deliver 10 cm GSD orthophoto and oblique imagery across 6,000 sq. km of central Israel. The project covered mixed urban and mountainous terrain and required oblique captures at 34–45° from four directions with wide overlap across 50 north–south and 90 east–west flight lines, all to be completed within three months.

Ofek deployed VisionMap’s A3 Digital Mapping System and A3 LightSpeed automated processing; the A3’s 60,000‑pixel footprint allowed high‑altitude flights and simultaneous orthophoto and oblique capture, completing acquisition in 15 days and delivering final products within a week with a single operator.
