TeleComputing, a leading Nordic cloud and hosting provider, needed to migrate hundreds of physical and VMware virtual servers to Microsoft Cloud OS/Hyper-V to reduce licensing and administrative costs. The move had to meet stringent customer SLAs—many customers required near‑zero downtime and 24/7 availability—and the migration tooling had to integrate with Microsoft System Center to support ongoing operations.

TeleComputing used Double-Take Move, integrated with System Center, to replicate applications, data and registry settings in the background and continuously synchronize updates until cutover. The company migrated 700 servers with migrations typically completed in under 30 minutes and only 2–15 minutes of downtime, staying within SLA windows; the project reduced downtime, cut hardware footprint and licensing costs, and set the stage to migrate thousands more servers.
