Severn Trent mobilises Ompton UV project in 4 weeks with VISION Consulting

VISION Consulting was engaged by Severn Trent, one of Britain's largest water companies, to address a critical challenge. The utility needed to rapidly mobilise its Ompton water treatment site, which required a new UV rig to be fully operational within an aggressive four-week deadline to maintain its high regulatory water quality standards, amidst a history of strained relationships between key stakeholders.

VISION implemented a rapid mobilisation programme focused on fostering collaboration and clear communication. They aligned leadership on a clear goal, clarified stakeholder responsibilities, and empowered on-the-ground decision-making. As a result, VISION helped Severn Trent successfully complete the project on January 31, 2024. The Ompton site became fully operational, delivering 20 million litres of drinking water per day as planned, which rebuilt confidence and strengthened relationships between the parties involved.
