Panasonic North America’s Head of Talent Analytics and Transformation, Lydia Wu, needed a way to make faster, better workforce decisions as the company shifted abruptly to remote work during the pandemic. The challenge was to use employee data to support leaders through uncertainty, while also accounting for well-being, burnout, flexibility, and the growing diversity of the workforce.
Visier helped Panasonic connect employee engagement data with demographic data to uncover more nuanced workforce insights. Using Visier, Panasonic was able to show that flexibility could reduce burnout and turnover, strengthen confidence in remote work, and support policy changes that reflected employee needs; the analysis also helped the company move beyond treating employees as a homogeneous group and build more inclusive, data-driven talent strategies.
