Enbridge, a Calgary‑based energy infrastructure company with over 13,000 employees, wanted to be an employer of choice by improving employee experience but lacked a cohesive, centrally defined way to measure and act on experience data. Their small people analytics team faced growing demand for custom analyses and needed one place to store, trend, report and communicate employee experience metrics so HR programs and continuous improvement efforts could be better informed.
Enbridge partnered with Visier People and a leading employee experience platform to pilot a retention use case, identify at‑risk segments (e.g., specific Millennial cohorts), and integrate survey sentiment with HR attributes like performance and promotions. The integrated hub enabled mass customization of reports, rapid identification and action on workforce issues, self‑serve analytics for HRBPs, and a roadmap to expand analytics across lifecycle moments—leading to faster, data‑driven decisions and more targeted investments in programs that improve employee engagement and retention.
