BBVA Compass, a top-25 U.S. bank operating 669 branches across the Sunbelt, faced an HR analytics bottleneck: the reporting team spent most of its time collecting and validating data and had little capacity to analyze workforce issues. Leadership wanted to reduce unwanted turnover in a key revenue-producing role, retain top performers, support diversity goals, and measure training impact, but adding staff wasn’t an option.

The bank adopted Visier to automate data collection and enable self-service analytics, which let the team pinpoint hotspots—70 branches accounted for 41% of turnover—then assign HR business partners to interview employees and managers and implement branch-specific action plans with ongoing reviews.
