Motul identifies 138 process issues with VISEO to prepare for S/4HANA

Motul, a technology-driven manufacturer of high-performance lubricants and fluids, faced the challenge of optimizing and structuring its business processes in preparation for a future migration to SAP S/4HANA. Their goal was to identify and resolve longstanding pain points across key areas like procurement, manufacturing, and order-to-cash. To tackle this, they engaged vendor VISEO and utilized the SAP Signavio suite for process mining and analysis.

VISEO implemented a solution using SAP Signavio tools to analyze Motul's SAP ECC processes, identify bottlenecks, and prioritize improvement initiatives. The project successfully identified 138 process issues, 64 of which were selected for remediation. Many quick wins were immediately addressed, leading to substantial operational efficiency gains and providing a structured methodology for continuous improvement as Motul prepares for its S/4HANA transformation.
