NuraLogix sought to develop technology for monitoring health and emotional states by analyzing subtle changes in facial blood flow, which are often imperceptible to the human eye. To build this solution, they required highly accurate and lightweight face tracking technology as a foundational component. They partnered with the vendor, Visage Technologies, and utilized their FaceTrack software.

Using Visage Technologies' FaceTrack, which tracks 99 facial points in real time, NuraLogix built its Transdermal Optical Imaging™ solution. This allowed them to non-invasively measure vital signs like blood pressure and heart rate, as well as estimate emotional states, using a conventional video camera. The solution from Visage Technologies enabled remote patient monitoring, which reduced costs for healthcare providers and saved time for patients.
