Allergan, a pharmaceutical company, wanted to help potential patients visualize the results of facial cosmetic treatments from home. Their challenge was to create an HTML5 application that could detect human faces in images and track a large number of facial points to ensure realistic results, all while being lightweight for fast performance. They partnered with Visage Technologies for this project.

Visage Technologies implemented their face tracking technology, visage|SDK for HTML5, to create the Juvéderm Visualizer. This solution accurately detected faces and 75 facial landmarks, allowing users to apply various treatment filters to their photos. The result was an innovative online tool that enables patients to see potential outcomes instantly, helping them choose the right treatment and effectively communicate their wishes to healthcare practitioners.
