Lawrence Graham (LG), a 500‑person law firm with 85 partners handling highly document‑intensive work, faced a stalled virtualization project: partial virtualisation caused frequent outages, slow provisioning, and no concrete disaster‑recovery policy, leaving business confidence and application availability at risk. After relocating premises, LG engaged Virtustream to re‑assess and reinvigorate the virtual estate.

Virtustream implemented a Virtualization Environmental Design Initiative (VEDI), recommended a full architecture (HP 8000 EVA with 12 blade and 13 VMware ESX servers in production, Virtual Centre v2.5; HP 4000 EVA with 6 blade and 6 ESX servers for DR) and executed consolidation and DR clustering.
