Ulink grows its distribution business with Virtuozzo Hybrid Infrastructure

Ulink, a Taiwanese IT distributor and solutions provider, sought to stay relevant in a cloud-first world and accelerate its growth. Their challenge was to offer a compelling alternative to major cloud platforms that was both cost-effective for small and medium-sized enterprises and secure enough for conservative sectors like government and financial services. To address this, they partnered with vendor Virtuozzo.

The solution was the implementation of Virtuozzo Hybrid Infrastructure (VHI) to power their Comboware cloud brand. This provided a foundation for both hosted public cloud services from their data center and pre-configured private cloud appliances for on-premises deployment. The results included a simplified, flexible, and locally supported cloud alternative for their diverse customer base. This successful partnership enabled Ulink to expand its operations, opening a new data center in Silicon Valley to support its entry into the U.S. market and fuel further global growth with Virtuozzo.
