The customer, Rolos (also referred to as Constructor), is a global science and technology organization. Their challenge was that research teams were spending excessive time on IT tasks like deploying and configuring compute infrastructure for large-scale AI and machine learning modeling, rather than focusing on their scientific work. They needed a high-performance, flexible cloud platform to support their research platform.

Virtuozzo provided its cloud infrastructure, combining Virtuozzo Cloud and on-premises Virtuozzo Infrastructure deployments. The solution delivered flexible CPU and GPU virtualization, high-performance Kubernetes clusters, and S3 storage, which simplified and accelerated the research lifecycle. The results allowed scientists to access tools and IT resources with a few clicks, and the hybrid model with OpenStack API support gave customers deployment flexibility. Virtuozzo's engineering support also helped optimize performance and stability for the platform.
