BFI delivers 6DOF and 360 exhibition content in 2020 with Virtual Umbrella

Virtual Umbrella was engaged by BFI to support the XR Team for an exhibition space at the London Film Festival 2020. The challenge was to staff and manage the exhibition, which featured an accessible program of 6DOF and 360 content, while ensuring all operations were conducted under strict COVID-safe measures for the public.

Virtual Umbrella implemented a comprehensive safety protocol for the exhibition. This included using Uvisan ultraviolet cleaning units on all equipment after every use, providing cleaning supplies at each pod, and making personal protective equipment available. The solution successfully maintained a safe environment, allowing the public to experience the virtual content via multiple headsets and platforms.
