Flowserve, a manufacturer of flow management products and services, faced a complex logistical challenge in managing dynamically changing requirements across its supply chain in EMEA. They sought to automate this process while avoiding the risks and expense of customizing their Oracle EBS solution, a functionality unsupported by standard internal orders. They turned to vendor Virtual Trader and its Intercompany Engine to address this.

Using Virtual Trader's solution alongside standard Oracle orders created an automated link between demand and supply. The Virtual Trader Intercompany Engine automatically drove Oracle's API to dynamically create required reference information, resulting in an internal supply chain capable of responding to changing requirements.
