Case Study: Tektronix achieves flexible, upgrade-safe intercompany and shared-services integration with Virtual Trader

A Virtual Trader Case Study

Preview of the Tektronix Case Study

Discover how we helped Tektronix to address its business-critical customizations for intercompany, shared services, and integration of a third-party service solution

Tektronix, a global supplier of test, measurement, and monitoring technology, faced the need to preserve and extend its business‑critical Oracle customizations for intercompany and shared services while integrating the third‑party OpenUPTIME solution as part of an Oracle upgrade. To avoid the risk and expense of re‑building bespoke code during the upgrade and to support future acquisitions and business change, Tektronix selected the Virtual Trader Intercompany Engine from Virtual Trader.

Virtual Trader replaced Tektronix’s custom intercompany and shared‑service logic with a rules‑based Intercompany Engine that operates across multiple instances, resolving integration issues with OpenUPTIME and enabling upgrades to the latest Oracle release without further costly customizations. The Virtual Trader solution delivered greater flexibility for ongoing business change, reduced upgrade risk and potential customization costs, and supported Tektronix’s ability to evolve solutions as it grows.
