A Virtual Hold Technology Solutions (VHT) Case Study
Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA) worked with Virtual Hold Technology Solutions (VHT) to address unpredictable security volumes and long lines, which made socially distanced queuing difficult. The airport needed a way to give passengers a smoother, more predictable screening experience, and it used VHT’s Mindful virtual queueing solution to help manage the process.
VHT implemented SEA Spot Saver, allowing travelers to schedule security appointments online or join a virtual waitlist by scanning a QR code and receiving text updates. The result was a more fluid passenger flow, less time spent standing in line, better use of airport space, and improved visibility into queue volumes and peak periods for operations and workforce planning.
