Virtuagym Enhances the Member Experience at Rochester Athletic Club

Rochester Athletic Club (RAC), a 13,000+‑member multipurpose club offering fitness, tennis, swimming, group classes and more, needed a way to consolidate rising member demand for mobile tools and multiple existing systems into a single, branded digital experience. With members increasingly using phones in their routines, RAC sought a solution that would integrate with their other platforms while improving communication and engagement.

RAC implemented Virtuagym’s branded app—combining class scheduling, rewards, hardware sync to cardio machines, thousands of 3D exercise demos, customizable training plans and a community module—while training staff and promoting the launch across channels. Member response has been positive, with improved targeted communication, higher engagement in classes and trainer plans, and a stronger perceived membership value that supports better retention.
