Energy Fitness Professionals (EFP), the UK’s longest-running corporate fitness provider since 1998, faced a major challenge when the pandemic abruptly cut off their primary in-person membership funnel and exposed limitations in their old-school admin and outreach. They needed a digital system that could handle bookings, payments and access control, support bespoke branding for multiple corporate sites, and keep employees engaged while respecting complex corporate data requirements.

EFP implemented Virtuagym’s platform — customized mobile apps for each client, booking and access control, a credit system for scalable purchases, and an online community — to run virtual classes, centralize marketing and outreach, and digitize admin. The switch reduced admin time and costs, prevented membership freezes by creating a new sales funnel through in-app communities, increased client satisfaction with personalized apps, and enabled a hybrid on-site/online strategy for future growth.
