Case Study: DAG ÉÉN achieves personalized, data-driven remote coaching and a two-month waitlist with Virtuagym

A Virtuagym Case Study

Preview of the DAG ÉÉN Case Study

How DAG ÉÉN perfected remote engagement

When Dutch gyms shut in 2020, Patrick and Babette launched DAG EEN to deliver a deeply personal, data-driven remote coaching program that helps clients get into their best shape even when coaches only see them once a day. Targeting primarily the 40– and 50–plus demographic, they distilled their own successful method into a six-week program designed to overcome motivation and time barriers during a changing world.

Using Virtuagym plus integrated NEO Health wearables and smart scales, DAG EEN collects daily weight, body-composition and nutrition data, combines it with guided workouts, a branded app onboarding day, and an active online community and WhatsApp groups for peer support. The result: measurable progress through weekly recalculations, high engagement and retention, a subscription option after six weeks, and demand that created a nearly two-month waiting list.
