Sentinel Leisure Trust, a UK operator of leisure facilities with 10,000+ members across multiple site portals, partnered with Virtuagym to tackle limited member engagement and reach beyond paying customers. Their goal was to create online community groups and improve interaction between staff and members so expertise and support could be shared across all facilities and into the wider local community.

Virtuagym delivered a tailored solution: a member-facing mobile app with site-specific portals plus a free SLT Group Community portal (with optional PRO upgrades) to host groups, workouts, nutrition content and access control. The outcome was increased engagement and retention, wider community reach and peer support, and a strong ongoing development partnership to continue evolving Sentinel’s digital services.
