Platte Valley Bank, part of Platte Valley Companies, needed a simple way to protect sensitive files and emails across its banking operations while supporting compliance and keeping the experience easy for employees and customers. The company handles W2s, loan and tax information, personally identifiable information, and other customer data across Nebraska, Wyoming, and Colorado.

To address that need, Platte Valley Bank used Virtru Secure Share and Virtru’s email plugin for end-to-end encryption, choosing them over Microsoft Office 365 native encryption and Dropbox-style file sharing.
