DNA Worldwide Secures Biological Test Results with Virtru

DNA Worldwide, a U.K. provider of DNA and medical testing for the court system, needed a way to securely and quickly share highly sensitive test results with clients, legal representatives, and courts. They chose Virtru and implemented Virtru’s Gmail encryption and Data Protection Gateway to protect private health data while making access simple and timely for recipients.

Virtru rolled out Gmail encryption company-wide and added its Data Protection Gateway to automatically encrypt sensitive messages sent via SugarCRM. As a result, DNA Worldwide achieved GDPR‑compliant protection, applied default encryption and DLP rules to safeguard data, enabled clients to access urgent results without creating new accounts, and preserved trust across its legal and client community.
