The project required linking several existing digital platforms, handling a large 4,000-item catalog, and supporting complex, channel-specific pricing—so Lavazza chose the Virto Commerce platform (implemented with partner rb2) for its flexibility, scalability, and data-integration capabilities.
rb2 implemented a unified B2B and B2C site on Virto Commerce, integrating the Zegris ERP for synchronized orders, pricing, and customer data. The result is a single interface where customers can place orders, view history, manage lists and invoices, and where Lavazza account managers access actionable customer insights; adding products and CMS updates that once took hours are now instantaneous, enabling faster, more efficient operations and improved ordering experiences for Lavazza’s 4,000+ business customers.
