How Forte Digital and Virto Commerce created a headless, modular, scalable solution to meet very specific business needs for now and in the future

Flokk, the leading European workplace furniture manufacturer, needed to streamline its business and grow digital revenue across both B2B and B2C channels. Facing complex product variants and a dealer-driven sales model, Flokk required a modern, headless, modular ecommerce platform with a product information management layer and integrations to CRM and ERP—so they partnered with Virto Commerce to deliver those capabilities.

Virto Commerce implemented a headless ecommerce solution with a PIM-powered product configurator, a B2B dealer portal, auto-generated price list tools, and integrations to HubSpot and Flokk’s ERP, hosted on Azure with a React/.NET front end. Over three years this enabled Flokk to expand into new digital channels, make the configurator widely used by sales, dealers and end customers, streamline price list creation, and markedly improve how their products are marketed and sold using Virto Commerce components.
