Budget Blinds, a leading North American provider of custom window coverings, needed a flexible B2B/B2C e-commerce site to handle a complex, still-evolving product set of blinds, shades, shutters and drapes, including both in-stock and highly configurable custom orders. Budget Blinds engaged Virto Commerce and partner JBS to deliver a platform-based solution that could support rich product visualization, measurement/installation guidance, and integration with live chat, tax, payment and accounting systems.

Virto Commerce implemented a dynamic, high-performance e-commerce solution (built on the Virto Commerce platform) that supports non-SKU product definitions, rich media (images and short videos), and end-to-end ordering from product listing to checkout. The deployment included an Admin site for customers, orders, promotions, content and reporting, and integrations with Chameleon Visualization, Solatech product configuration, Avalara Tax, Authorize.net payments and Microsoft Dynamics—streamlining ordering, tracking and delivery while enabling faster launch and easier customization for Budget Blinds.
