A Virti Case Study
HTC Vive's medical team, which works with hospitals and universities, faced challenges with traditional medical training methods like hiring actors, which was time-consuming and created scheduling problems. While VR technology offered promise, early tools were difficult for the average user to operate and required expensive engineers and designers to create content.
The vendor, Virti, provided a "no-code" virtual reality tool that is easy to use with basic computer skills, described as "PowerPoint for VR." Using Virti, HTC Vive conducted 85 workshops, training 2,500 medical professionals who then created 183 different medical training simulations. The workshops achieved a Net Promoter Score of 85%, and educators reported being able to create lessons between 10 and 100 times faster.
