Presidio, an AWS systems integrator supporting a large media and entertainment client, needed to prove the value of migrating a division’s VMware farm to AWS. Using Virtana Migrate agents to collect NetFlow and machine data, Presidio and AWS produced detailed do‑nothing vs. migrate cost models (including EC2 vs. VMware Cloud on AWS and AWS licensing/optimization assessments).
