Yukon Public Schools furnishes a 350,000-square-foot high school with Virco

Yukon Public Schools faced the challenge of furnishing a new, spacious 350,000-square-foot high school, which required an extensive and varied assortment of furniture for over 100 classrooms and specialized facilities. They selected vendor Virco and its PlanSCAPE service for its space planning and project management assistance to handle this large-scale new construction project.

Virco's solution involved creating customized layout plans and providing product samples to ensure the furniture would meet the school's specific needs. The school purchased versatile and ergonomic furniture, including ZUMA Series chairs and desks that support collaborative learning. As a result, Yukon High School was successfully furnished, with teachers appreciating the flexibility to easily create custom classroom configurations. The project was acquired through Virco's cost-saving U.S. Communities contract.
