The Rainey-McCullers School of the Arts, a new school for grades 6-12, faced the challenge of furnishing its unique spaces with a mix of specialty and traditional furniture while navigating construction delays and a strict opening deadline. Virco's PlanSCAPE service was engaged to manage the complex FF&E procurement process and provide expert solutions for this first-of-its-kind project for the district.

Virco implemented a comprehensive solution, managing the entire procurement and providing specialized equipment through partners like Wenger Corporation for music areas. The PlanSCAPE team devised a phased installation plan to work around ongoing construction. As a result, the school opened on time and the project was completed under budget, thanks to cost savings from Virco's U.S. Communities contract.
