New Palestine Junior High opens flexible 21st-century spaces on time and on budget with Virco

The customer, New Palestine Junior High, faced the challenge of reopening a previously closed school on a modest budget while creating a modern, flexible learning environment that supported collaboration and technology for its students. They partnered with the vendor Virco and its PlanSCAPE service to achieve this vision for their 21st-century learning spaces.

Virco implemented a cost-effective solution, furnishing classrooms, a new Innovation Center, and science labs with flexible furniture like ZUMA Series desks and chairs and 5000 Series activity tables. This allowed for easy reconfiguration to support various group and independent learning activities. Through Virco's partnership with U.S. Communities, the project was completed on budget. The result was a successfully renovated school that met the district's goals for innovation and collaboration, opening on time for the 2018-2019 school year.
