Disney turned to Virbela to help Duncan Wardle, former head of innovation and creativity, keep his high-energy ideation workshops engaging in a virtual setting after travel and in-person meetings were disrupted. The challenge was to preserve the creativity, collaboration, and broad participation that made his sessions effective while reaching more people online.

Virbela provided a private virtual campus with breakout-friendly “magic circles,” sticky notes, and customizable seasonal environments that made workshops feel more interactive and real. With Virbela, Wardle was able to host up to 85 participants at a time and encourage more reserved attendees to speak up and contribute ideas, improving participation and making innovation sessions more productive.
