Lodders Solicitors, a UK law firm with 152 users across four offices, turned to VIPRE after their previous AI-led DLP solution failed to meet expectations. Concerned about the high risk of accidentally misaddressed emails and exposure of sensitive client data, IT Manager Mike Poole sought a human-led approach and selected VIPRE SafeSend to involve users directly in the decision to send potentially sensitive information.
VIPRE implemented SafeSend firm-wide via group policy and added the SafeSend DLP module to scan email bodies and attachments for flagged keywords, prompting users to confirm recipients and attachments before sending. Rolled out to all 152 users with custom branding and DLP rules, the solution—backed by VIPRE support—has improved staff confidence, reduced the risk of misaddressed emails and accidental data loss, and streamlined Lodders’ data protection processes.
